”Brothers Grimm” Days in Sarajevo

The Goethe-Institute in Sarajevo, the German Department of the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo and the DAAD Foundation will celebrate with the 200thanniversary since the first publishing of Brothers Grimm ” Children’s and Household Tales”.

” Fairy tales for Children” are the most read book, since Bible, which makes this anniversary so much more important”- said the representative of the Goethe- Institute in Sarajevo.

The manifestation in honor of the 200th anniversary will be held on the 12thand 13 th December at the Goethe- Institute and at the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo. The program planned for this manifestation will be full of surprises. Some of the most interesting activities will be the staging of a drama by students of the German Department in Sarajevo, interesting lectures by the university professors from Germany and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The theme of the discussion after the lectures will be ” The importance of Brothers Grimm”
