The European Union has delivered more than 980,000 grenades to Ukraine, the EU’s high representative for foreign affairs and security policy, Josep Borrell, said.
He told the Ukrainian newspaper Evropska Pravda that the target of delivering a total of one million grenades would be reached “very quickly”.
“I know we committed to reaching this level by spring – and we didn’t manage to do it. But we can do it by the end of the year,” Borrell added.
