Cabinet of Serbian President: Serbia does not want to merge with BH Entity of RS

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has stated that the authorities in Serbia do not want to merge with BH entity of Republika Srpska.

The statement is from Vucic’s Cabinet when asked about the comments of RS President Milorad Dodik. During his interview for the Deutsche Welle, Dodik drew his own vision of the map of the Western Balkans, in which the entity of the RS was attached to Serbia, as well as the north of Kosovo.

As they stated, Serbia represents the only obstacle for the secession of the RS. They noted that Dodik also said the same in the interview.

On the other side, the President of the smaller BH entity noted that BiH will not survive in any kind of form. Dodik stated that it is a burden for the RS that Serbia has remained loyal to the policy of preserving territorial integrity.

“If at that moment, when Kosovo got separated, Serbia said that it was OK, we would certainly have performed the secession by now,” said Dodik.
