“Cameron and Britain forget that Moscow has nuclear Weapons”

”British Foreign Minister David Cameron, when he says that Ukraine can target the territory inside Russia, must remember that Moscow has nuclear weapons, ” said the spokeswoman of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova yesterday.

“The only question is how crazy a person needs to be and to allegedly present himself as the leader of a civilized country and to say such things. Moreover, how much of that person has amnesia or cannot remember that we are talking about states with nuclear weapons,” said Zakharova.

She pointed out that Russia will undoubtedly retaliate if there are any strikes inside its territory.

“How insensitive a person must be to not understand what such statements lead to. He not only does not think about Russia’s reaction but also about the feelings of his own citizens, subjects of Britain, and other countries of the collective West,” said Zakharova.

Two days ago, Reuters published an interview with Cameron, who said that Ukraine has the right to use the United Kingdom’s(UK) weapons to strike targets inside Russia.

This news was later withdrawn with the explanation of Reuters that it was “waiting for consideration of certain details”.

The new version of the interview was released at midnight Moscow time and did not differ from the original version, N1 writes.
