In the Una-Sana Canton (USC), representatives of the Ministry of Education of the USC formed a team for crisis situations in schools due to recent unpleasant and worrying events, especially due to the disappearance of a student from the Medical School in Bihac. Schools will have a team at their disposal that will be able to engage in all crisis events.

The Ministry of Education of the USC formed teams for crisis situations in schools so that all schools would start developing a protocol for dealing with crisis situations. The crisis team consists of the Ministry of Education, the Cantonal Hospital, and the Prosecutor’s Office.

“We are about to sign a memorandum with the Cantonal Hospital where the clinical psychologist will be actively involved in solving all these problems. Therefore, the crisis team will try to act preventively,” stated Edvin Alijanovic, Minister of Education of USC (DF).

Among other things, the Ministry of Education will continue to actively work on solving potential problems in schools, which could encourage any form of violence. Also, the next meeting will be organized in Bosanska Krupa, after which similar activities will follow in other municipalities and cities of USC. As they said from this Canton, prevention is the best measure.
