Seventh Corps nap.ba 2A ceremony of marking the anniversary of the formation of the Seventh Corps of Army of B&H was held yesterday in Travnik.

In a series of events that took place in Travnik, the 21st anniversary of the Seventh Corps of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina was commemorated. It was repeatedly emphasized that the Seventh Corps of the Army of RB&H had not lost an inch of territory in the past war. Among others, the event was attended by the Vice President of FB&H Melika Mahmutbegović, who laid flowers at the Central Shahid’s cemetery at Travnik and paid tribute to the shahids and fallen soldiers.

Seventh Corps was formed in 1994 in Travnik and in a short time earned the title of the most offensive unit, due to the fact that it was the youngest Army Corps in the past war and freed most of the occupied BH territory.

Head of the corps was the legendary commander Mehmed Alagić.
