After five successfully organized CEO (Career, Entrepreneurship and Opportunities) conferences in Sarajevo, Mostar, Tuzla, Zenica and Banja Luka, in the organization of the Faculty of Economy at the University of Sarajevo, this project is getting a regional character in 2015, with the implementation of the educational program CEO Academy.
Motivated by the benefits of the national and regional cooperation, the Faculty of Economics at the University of Sarajevo will organize CEO conferences this year in Zagreb, Podgorica, Beograd and Ljubljana, in the cooperation with State Faculties of Economics from mentioned cities.
“This year, the CEO Conference through the slogan “Life changing moments” strives to connect youths with successful individuals who break myths about success, by motivating them to take the proactive approach to entrepreneurship and the development of a career. Until now, the CEO Conference succeeded in its intention, which resulted in the employment of more participants, by establishing their own businesses and launching an initiative for good business ideas of several dozens of youths”, emphasized Armin Talic, Head of the Center for entrepreneurship and knowledge management of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Sarajevo.
The introduction to this year’s conference will be the educational program CEO Academy. Sejla Vatres, Manager of the project CEO Conference, emphasized that young people should be devoted to professional development and the improvement of their skills that are needed at the labor market.
From 22nd to 24th May 2015 in Sarajevo, the CEO Academy will be the meeting place of more than 400 participants within four activities: Wanted: Million Dollar Employee, Workshops, Coffee with.. and StartUp Expo, will have an opportunity to meet the most successful people from the world of business, science and culture, as well as companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina and neighboring regions, and through the work with top experts from various fields improve their existing and acquire new knowledge and skills.
