ceo “The Faculty of Economics at the University of Sarajevo, through projects such as the CEO Conference, besides formal education, allows students to gain further practical experience and skills that enable employment for students before they graduate. We want to encourage students to be active, to continuously learn and use their knowledge to improve all segments of BH society through this project,” said dean of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Kemal Kozaric.

He also recalled that the entire organization of the CEO Conference is done by students, who are preparing for the real sector and the market in this way, and they do it very successfully.

“I must note that the energy and ideas they bring to this faculty are something that we are really proud of, and everyone will see it on this event,” said Kozaric.

Nazif Holjan, the manager of CEO, recalled that the conference exists since 2013 and that it made significant progress in the past four years, meaning that now it is organized in four countries of the region. According to him, it was designed in a way that successful young people from the real sector share their experiences, ups and downs, on all participants.

“This year, the CEO Conference is aiming to gather a total of 7,000 young people in eight cities in the region on all conferences, from Zenica, Tuzla, Mostar and Banja Luka to Belgrade, Zagreb, and Podgorica. The goal is to present stories of successful individuals in order to call young people to actively work on their personal and professional perfecting, as this year’s slogan says “Take action. Now.’

The project gathers almost 300 students who are working on the organization of these events from all across the region, and they are guided by the vision to use their full potential and follow their ambition and dreams,” said Holjan.

He added that they worked on establishing cooperation with a number of companies from the region to support them year after year.

CEO Conference (Career and Entrepreneurship Opportunities) is an annual event that is aimed at connecting young people with successful individuals whose positive examples will motivate them on a proactive approach to entrepreneurship and career development. The conference represents a unique combination of psychology and economics. It includes all major segments of the transfer of knowledge, experience and skills, multimedia content, and emotionally charged presentations that can truly inspire young minds.
