Ceremony in Tuzla Today To Mark Completion of Rega Project

usaid_partnerThe ceremony to mark the completion of the implementation of the REGA project will be held in Tuzla today. USAID and Partner Microcredit Foundation organize it.

The organizers announced that the five-year results of the REGA project will also be presented.

On December 2008, Partner Microcredit Foundation signed a cooperative agreement with the American Agency for International Development (USAID) with a binding amount for the project of 510,755.72 Euros. It was used for loans to farmers for the cultivation of berries on undeveloped or unused land.

The effect of the implementation of the project by 11 September 2013 is measured with a payment of 500 loans, with a total amount of 736,217.83 euros in the loan program Voćko of Partner Microcredit Foundation.

The Director of USAID David Barth, Minister of Agriculture, Water and Forestry of the Tuzla Canton Edin Ajanović, Executive Director for Credit Operations of Partner MKF Selma Jahić and beneficiary of the credit program ‘”Voćko“ Risto Pavlović will present the success of this project to the media and other participants.
