The Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers Vjekoslav Bevanda received in Sarajevo yesterday the Ambassador of Great Britain to BiH Nigel Casey. They spoke about the current political situation in BiH.

Bevanda spoke to Casey about the achieved goals from the Road Map related to the “Sejdić-Finci” ruling and the establishment of functioning coordination mechanisms.

Casey praised the efforts of Chairman Bevanda for establishing regional cooperation and said that the recent meetings with the Prime Ministers of Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro is the only way to establish good relations with neighboring countries on the path to the European Union.

Bevanda said that the next meeting of Prime Ministers is scheduled in April in Mostar.

Casey and Bevanda concluded that in the next period the priorities of BiH have to be conditions agreed upon from the Road Map, which are key for applying for candidate status for the European Union.
