Chairman of BiH Presidency: Dodik will not spoil relations with Montenegro

A member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina from among the Bosniak people, Denis Bećirović said that the president of the Bosnia and Herzegovina entity Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik “will not spoil the relations between Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina”.

He told Television N1 at the Diplomatic Forum in Antalya that he had spoken with the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, several times these days.

Bećirović said that Milatović will officially visit Bosnia and Herzegovina at his invitation in the coming months.

“That visit will be very important in terms of strengthening the relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, but we will also send very clear messages. The messages sent by the separatist leader of the RS entity that he will work for the unification of a part of Bosnia and Herzegovina – the entities of the RS, Serbia and Montenegro are messages that call into question several independent, sovereign states in Southeast Europe. Such messages have not been heard in Europe since the second half of the 1930s. Such extremes will be stopped by us in Bosnia and Herzegovina together with our friends in the region and together with our allies,” said Bećirović.
