Chairman of BiH Presidency Met With Serbian President

11042013-2vIn the framework of participation in the work of the UN General Assembly in New York, Chairman of the BiH Presidency Nebojša Radmanović met with the President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolić for the debate “Role of International Criminal Court in Reconciliation”.

They spoke of bilateral relations between the two countries, especially on economic cooperation.

During the meeting they spoke of the upcoming visit of the tripartite Presidency of BiH to Belgrade that is planned for the last week of April decided by the BiH Presidency.

Chairman Radmanović expressed interest in the development of the situation and the progress of talks between Serbia and the EU regarding obtaining a date for the start of negotiations for EU membership, and of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina in connection to the unresolved issue of Kosovo and Metohija.

President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolić informed Chairman Radmanović of the progress achieved in talks between Belgrade and Pristina with the mediation of the EU, the position of the leadership of Serbia, rejection of the proposed agreement and the possible continuation of this dialogue.

The meeting was attended by consultants of the other two members of the BiH Presidency and the Ambassador of BiH to the BiH Mission to the UN.
