The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Zeljko Komsic, congratulated Zoran Milanovic on his election victory in the presidential elections in Croatia.

“Mr. Milanovic, I congratulate you on your victory in the presidential elections in Croatia. In the run-up to the Presidency of the European Union, the citizens of Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina expect to intensify cooperation between the two friendly countries. In the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina, you have reliable partners for advancement. I also congratulate the citizens of Croatia on the election of the new President. I sincerely wish Zoran to find a new path and strength to be different from everything so far. Everyone needs it “.

Zoran Milanovic of the Social Democrats has won 53.25% of the vote, exit polls showed. He defeated the incumbent center-right Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic in what was predicted to be a tight race.
