Chairperson Krišto expressed her satisfaction with the cooperation of BiH institutions with the EIB so far.

She thanked the EIB for its past cooperation and support to Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially on infrastructure projects where the EIB’s technical expertise and financial support are of key importance.

She expressed BiH’s interest in strengthening support for the private sector through favorable credit programs to create new jobs and accelerate economic growth.

They discussed the implementation of existing and new projects in the field of road and railway infrastructure, environmental protection, energy, health, water, and sanitary infrastructure.

Chair Krišto said that our country remains committed to European integration and regional processes, the foundations of which are communication links and structural adjustment. She added that Bosnia and Herzegovina needs to continue and strengthen cooperation with the European Investment Bank, whose fundamental mission is this. She emphasized that the EIB is one of the most important development partners of our country with more than 3.2 billion euros of credit and grant funds invested in local and regional development projects of public interest, the Council of Ministers of BiH announced.
