Challenges and trends in the timber industry was the topic of an expert seminar held today in Center Skenderija Sarajevo.

“In order to enrich the content of the fair “Interio”, the BiH Foreign Trade Chamber (VTKBiH) is organizing for the sixth year an expert seminar that is intended for the further education of companies’’, said the Secretary of the Group for the timber industry VTKBiH Selma Bašagić.

According to her, in the last five years more than 250 participants participated in this seminar with current topics and expert instructors. It is intended mainly for manufacturers of furniture, prefabricated wooden buildings and other producers in the timber industry.

Conceptually, it is divided in three parts: new technological solutions in the timber industry, trends in design of furniture and activities to enhance exports to the EU market.

Representatives of the Italian company “Spanevello”, who presented new technological developments in this field and companies Promo Donji Vakuf with its products of low energy prefabricated houses participated.
