Champions League Began Last Night

Manchester City's Dzeko celebrates with team mate Sergio Aguero after scoring a goal against Viktoria Plzen during their Champions League group D soccer match at the Doosan Arena in Prague, Czech RepublicThe first matches of the group stages of the Champions League for the 2013/2014 season were held last night in stadiums throughout Europe. Viktoria hosted Manchester City with B&H representative Edin Džeko. Džeko and his teammates had several chances in the first half, but by the end of the first half the score was 0:0. The guests from England then began their offensive. Džeko scored in the 48th minute. Five minutes later, Yaya Toure gave a goal and the score was 2:0. Sergio Aguero scored in the 58th minute and the final result of the match was 3:0 for City.
