Conference ‘Obligations of B&H Towards Women Victims of War Crimes’

trialA conference called ‘Obligations of B&H Towards Women Victims of War Crimes’ will be held today in Sarajevo. The conference is organized by TRIAL (Track Impunity Always) in B&H.

The aim of the conference is to inform key stakeholders on the recommendations o the Committee for the Elimination of Discrimination towards Women of the UN (CEDAW) and to provide an interactive platform for the participants where they could develop an operational plan and respond to the challenges in implementing these recommendations.

Representatives of women’s organizations will participate at the conference-victims of war, nonprofit organizations that deal with this issue as well as representatives of relevant state institutions that are based on the recommendations of CEDAW.

The conference will be held in hotel Sarajevo beginning at 9:00, and the presentation of conclusions is scheduled at 12:30.
