Chelsea gave up on Edin Dzeko

“The national football player of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and first team player of Roma, Edin Dzeko, will not sign a contract for Chelsea,” reports Italian Sky Sports.

Namely, Chelsea made an agreement with Dzeko’s teammate, Emerson Palmieri, who will travel to London on Tuesday, where he will do medical examinations.

As Sky Sports writes, Edin Dzeko will not join Antonio Conte’s team, because of the salary amount and contract length which was required by BH player.

Allegedly, Dzeko wanted a three-and-a-half-year contract and salary of 120.000 pounds per week.

Chelsea, who was willing to pay 26 million pounds for BH player, is now closely following the situation with Olivier Giroud, after Arsenal has sent a 60 million pounds bid for Pierre-Emerick Aubemeyang.

Arsene Wenger has stated that he will allow Giroud to leave Arsenal, if they find a new striker before the end of the transitional period.
