Chief Prosecutor met with UNDP Representatives in Sarajevo

The Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gordana Tadic, together with the Head of the War Crimes Section, Izet Odobasic, met with United Nations Development Program (UNDP) representatives Ivan Jovanovic, Head of the Regional War Crimes Project, and Sabina Hidanovic, new Project Coordinator in Sarajevo.

The meeting discussed the activities that the UNDP is implementing through projects related to the regional cooperation among Prosecutor’s Offices prosecuting war crimes cases, as well as meetings of prosecutors of the region, at which current issues in this area are discussed.

The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has good cooperation with the UNDP, which has been achieved through previous projects related to the prosecution of war crimes cases in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region.

The UNDP representatives briefed the Chief Prosecutor on the activities they plan to implement in the future.

Good cooperation between the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and UNDP will continue in the coming period.
