The main topic of conversation between Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic and Member of Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik was the further development of connections between Croatia and BiH, with special emphasis on the construction of a new road bridge near Gradiska and access roads, the Croatian Government announced after the meeting in Zagreb.

That bridge is a joint investment of Croatia and BiH, which will significantly increase the volume and flow of traffic of people and goods, for the benefit of both countries – it is emphasized in the announcement.

Plenkovic emphasized the importance of the return of exiled Croats, as well as the protection of their property. It was confirmed at the meeting that the route of the highway Banja Luka – Prijedor will go in an alternative direction, which will protect the property of Croats in that area and avoid the demolition of their houses – it is added in the announcement.

The statement adds that Plenkovic and Dodik also talked about stronger economic cooperation, investments, Croatia’s support for BiH’s European path, and the situation in Southeast Europe, as well as the problem of illegal migration.

In addition to Plenkovic, Dodik met in Zagreb with the President of Croatia, Zoran Milanovic, and he also visited the Cathedral and talked with His Eminence Metropolitan Porfirio of Zagreb and Ljubljana.
