China Plans to Invest in BiH With Value of Over 350 Million Euros

Banja_lukaThe Ambassador of China to BiH Dong Chunfeng announced yesterday in Banja Luka that the total value of Chinese investment in BiH will amount to 350 million Euros, and that investment in the construction of power plants “Stanari” near Doboj is the first Chinese investment in BiH in the program of investment.

“This is the first result of cooperation between China and BiH in the construction of infrastructure in the last few years, and the total Chinese investment will amount to around 350 million euros’’, said Chunfeng.

After the meeting with the Mayor of Banja Luka Slobdoan Gavranović, he said that there is an opportunity for officials in Banja Luka, together with two more BiH cities, to participate at a business forum in China that will be held this July.

The Chinese Ambassador spoke today in Banja Luka with the President of the RS Milorad Dodik, who said that this entity wishes to develop better political, economic and cultural relations with China.

The Chinese Ambassador said that his country wishes to improve cooperation with BiH, especially in the area of trade and investment, and which was demonstrated with the positive role of Chinese representatives in the construction of TE “Stanari”.

The Chinese Ambassador spoke with the entity President of the organizing of the Business Forum, which will be held in China in the beginning of July, and which will include representatives of local governments from countries in Central and Eastern Europe and 16 Chinese provinces. The Mayor of Banja Luka was invited.
