Chinese Ambassador Visited BiH Central Bank

Centralna-banka-BiH-575x413The Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China Dong Chunfeng visited the BiH Central Bank (CBBiH) and spoke with the Governor Kemal Kozarić on cooperation of the central banks of both countries and the opportunities for stronger Chinese investment in our country.

Governor Kozarić wished the Ambassador a warm welcome to BiH and the to the BiH Central Bank. The Governor pointed out the good level of cooperation with the previous Ambassador, friendly relationship and his personal commitment to the good tracing relationship between BIH and China.

During the discussion, Governor Kozarić spoke to the guests about the macroeconomic indicators in BiH. He conveyed a positive impression on the visit to the Central Bank by the National Bank of China. During this visit, they established cooperation on professional issues from the area of central banking, and in the training of employees.

The Chinese Ambassador expressed interest in investment opportunities in BiH, and the improvement of cooperation between the BiH Central Bank and the National Bank of China.

They highlighted the need to further enhance economic cooperation between BiH and China, which is an important factor in European and world economic developments, announced the BIH Central Bank.
