Citizens send a Message that they did not forget killed Azra Spahic

Numerous citizens gathered yesterday at the City Square in Bihać to pay their respects to the tragically killed doctor Azra Spahić.

“We wanted to pay tribute to Azra, who died due to someone else’s mistake, to support her family and the families of Edita Malkoč and Selma Agić, who unfortunately had the same fate. But we also want to point out to the authorities that they should change the laws, that the perpetrators of such crimes should be given greater punishments and take away the vehicles,” said Sandra Džemaili, president of the Section of Young Anti-Fascists of the City of Bihać, which is also the organizer of this gathering.

Let us remind you that on May 26, 2023, Azra Spahić died in a traffic accident when she was hit by a vehicle driven by Armin Berberović.

The investigation established that Berberović had alcohol in his blood and that he did not have a driver’s license.
