“There are projects that, because of their humanity and overall benefit, deserve our continued and unreserved support. The parents’ home of the Heart for Children with Cancer Association and the apartment provided by the City of Sarajevo for the same needs are among them, “Sarajevo Mayor Abdulah Skaka said during a meeting with representatives of this organization, headed by director Fikret Kubat.

During the meeting, an agreement on financial support of the City to this association was signed, which this year with the approval of the City Council amounts to 20,000 BAM.

The funds are intended for the maintenance of an apartment used by the families of ill children, which was previously provided by the City of Sarajevo.

Skaka said that in a certain way, this association preserves the face of the whole society and facilitates not only the children but also the whole families the most difficult moments in life. Director Kubat thanked Skaka for continuous cooperation.
