Today at Camp Butmir, in the presence of COM EUFOR Major General Maurizio Fronda, H.E. Georg Diwald, Ambassador of Austria to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Major General Gerhard Christiner, Chief of Staff of Directorate 1 of the Austrian Armed Forces, Colonel Alexander Hönig assumed command of the Austrian contingent from Colonel Harald Kink.
During the ceremony, Major General Fronda thanked Colonel Kink for his outstanding service and presented him with the Common Security and Defence Policy Service Medal for Operation ALTHEA.
