Committee for the Investigation of the Plane Crash near Ozren made

Debris of two sport planes is seen near the village of Cerveny KamenTwo days ago, the Ministry of Transport and Communications of B&H received the notice that a plane type “cessna 421B”, license plates YU-BSW, crashed in the region of Ozren Mountain.

The Minister of Transport and Communications of B&H Slavko Matanovic formed a four-member committee for the conduction of initial investigation so that they could be sent to the crash site immediately.

The committee went to the site where they conducted initial investigation activities, which have continued yesterday as well. Besides that, in the coming days the Ministry will form a committee based on the Law on Aviation of B&H, which will conduct a detailed investigation and establish the facts and circumstances regarding the accident.

Matanovic expressed condolences due to the crash of the plane, which is registered in the RS, in which a citizen of Serbia got killed while performing tasks on the territory of B&H, as well as to the family of the killed, with regret for the tragic event. He hopes that the injured in the crash will recover quickly and successfully.

Matanovic especially thanked the Service for rescue and search and the members of the Public Safety Center Doboj for a timely and professional reaction, who managed to locate the crash site and take care of the injured under exceptionally difficult conditions, it was announced yesterday from the Ministry of Transport and Communications of B&H.
