Communications and internet services were completely disrupted on Wednesday across a wide area of the Gaza Strip during Israeli airstrikes in various parts of the enclave.
“This is the seventh outage in the Palestinian territory since the conflict broke out on October 7,” said telecom operators Jawwal and Paltel.
In six previous outages, landline, mobile and internet communications were interrupted for several hours.
The longest interruption lasted four days, from December 14.
The telecommunications company Ooredoo also confirmed an interruption in communication services in the southern and central parts of the Gaza Strip, with intermittent services in the north.
Since October 7, the Israeli army has been conducting air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip, which began in the north and spread to the central and southern areas.
