Competition for Hospital: Who will succeed Sebija Izetbegović?

13182997_1179759705408317_83788271_nSteering Committee of the Public Institution General Hospital „Prim.Dr.Abdulah Nakaš“ announced a competition for selection and appointment of the director of this institution who should succeed Sebija Izetbegović. Izetbegović resigned after she was selected the Director of the Clinical Center University of Sarajevo.

The public call states that the mandate of director lasts four years and that, upon the expiration of the mandate, the same person can be appointed the Director of the General Hospital again based on a public call, but not for a period longer than one mandate.

On the basis of personal request, the Steering Committee of the General Hospital „Prim.Dr.Abdulah Nakaš“ dismissed Sebija Izetbegović as the director of this health institution. Sead Bašić was appointed the acting director of the General Hospital.

There are still no speculations about who might be the next director of this health institution.

As a reminder, after Sebija Izetbegović left this institution, certain members of staff of the General Hospital went to work at the Clinical Center University of Sarajevo.
