Member of the Presidency of B&H, Bakir Izetbegović, received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to B&H, Hani bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Momenah.
They discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as the current political relations in B&H and Saudi Arabia.
They agreed that the overall relations between B&H and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are traditionally good and without any open issues, and expressed their belief that the relations will continue to develop in a positive manner.
Both of them share the opinion that it is necessary to intensify the different forms of economic cooperation, especially if taking into consideration the significant investment opportunities in B&H.
Izetbegović invited Ambassador Momenah to encourage investors from Saudi Arabia to intensify their investments in our country, emphasizing previous positive international experience with the implementation of projects in B&H.
The pleasure with the recent construction of the building of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in B&H was specially emphasized during the meeting.
Both Izetbegović and Momenah agreed that in order to start this process, the administrative issues regarding the land on which the construction is planned, should be solved first. Izetbegović thanked for the continuous support of Saudi Arabia to B&H once again.
He wished successful mandate and pleasant stay in our country to the Ambassador Momenah, as announced from the Presidency of B&H.
