Conference on Perspectives of Improving Social Sciences and Humanities

sarajevo_view (3)The Human Rights Center of the University of Sarajevo is organizing in Sarajevo today a conference on the topic “Prospects of Improving Social Sciences and Humanities in BiH”.

The conference is organized within the framework of the Regional Program of Support of Social Research (RRPP), and sponsored by the Swiss Agency for Cooperation and Development.

The conference gathers representatives of relevant ministries, universities, colleges, institutes, research organizations and researchers.

It was announced that speeches will be given by representatives of the BiH Ministry of Civil Affairs, office for cooperation of the Swiss Embassy to BiH, and the University of Sarajevo.

The goal of the conference is to provide an exchange of opinions and ideas of researchers, academics and relevant ministries about the pressing issues that are based on the funding of science and scientific research, human resources in the field of scientific research and the relatively low participation in international research projects.
