Confirmed Indictment against Fourteen Persons in the “Envelope” Case

The indictment against 14 persons in the “Envelope” case for high corruption was confirmed.

We remind you that the indictment was brought against Adna Mesihović, Dženita Viteškić, Ibrahim Obhođaš, Enda Pavić Pečenković, Muhamed Ajanović, Dalila Hakalović, Murat Ramadanović, Mersiha Šabaredžović Klačar, Jasminka Sijerčić, Maida Čohodar Husić, Lidija Zvačko Pehar, Dejan Milošević, Kasim Bajrović, Emina Kiseljaković.

They are charged with the criminal offenses of abuse of position or authority, receiving a reward or other form of benefit for influence peddling, and fraud in the service. In the indictment, the prosecutors proposed the termination of Muhamed Ajanović’s detention, and the imposition of prohibitory measures, namely a ban on performing the function of dean at the Faculty of Dentistry, a ban on visiting the Faculty of Dentistry, the Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs of the CS and the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Youth of the CS, a travel ban and a ban on contacting witnesses and suspects.

Also, in relation to Dalila Hakalović, it was proposed to ban the performance of the function of the chief educational inspector of KUIP, visiting the inspection building, Faculty of Dentistry and meeting with witnesses and suspects. Andi Pavić Pečenković was proposed to be banned from holding the position of minister in the CS Government and banned from meeting with witnesses and suspects. Dženita Viteškić was banned from performing the position of assistant minister for higher education and was banned from meeting with witnesses and suspects.

In relation to the members of the Board of Directors of the University of Sarajevo, a ban was proposed on the performance of their duties in the Board of Directors, as well as meeting with witnesses and suspects. The filing of the indictment was preceded by a complex investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office of the CS in cooperation with the investigators of the Police Department of the CS MUP and the Office for the Fight against Corruption of the CS, in accordance with the signed Memorandum on Prosecuting Corrupt Crimes. The indictment has been forwarded to the Municipal Court in Sarajevo for confirmation, announced the KS Prosecutor’s Office.
