Samir Alihodzic, a teacher who was convicted of pedophilia and was recently reinstated at the Elementary School Grbavica 1in Sarajevo, quit his job.

This information was confirmed by his attorney Alen Nakic.

”He informed the school staff electronically that he will not return to the teaching process and that he is resigning. Despite all the facts and circumstances concerning him and his legal position, he does not want his performance as a teacher to be a problem for anyone. Regardless of the fact that he was involved in the teaching process and that during the process he also conducted extracurricular activities such as ski school, he does not want anyone to feel threatened by the fact that he is a teacher at the school. He wants the school and his colleagues to continue working and he doesn’t want anyone to feel threatened,” Nukic stated.
