Due to the heavy rain since yesterday Miljacka in Sarajevo, Bosna in Zenica, Jala in Tuzla and Sana in Sanski Most are constantly increasing.
According to measurements at 11:53, the water level of Miljacka at the bridge Ćumurija in Sarajevo reached a height of 244 cm. Bosna river in Reljevo reached a height of 410 cm and in Zenica about 364 cm. The water level of river Jala in Tuzla is 185 cm.
River Sana in Sanski Most increased up to 195 cm, while Una in Bihać has the lowest level, of half a meter.
Due to floods, the situation in the area of Ilidža in Sarajevo is complicated, especially in the are of Otes and Osjek- said for Agency Fena, the Chief of Department for strategic planning, protection and rescue measurements of the B&H Ministry of Security Idriz Brković.
According to him, 70 houses in the area of local community Otes are threatened by floods.
Miljevina river spilled in the area of local community Osjek. About 35 houses are currently threatened, and 7 houses have been flooded.
Brković points out that all the teams available are on the field. He added that the B&H Ministry of Security took over activities in regard to floods until it does not come to require help from Armed Forces “to finish as soon as possible, if the situation does not get worst and teams are not able to handle the situation”.
