Construction of Wind Farm in Autumn

vjetroparkConstruction will begin in the fall on the windfarm Trusina Mountain. This will be the first one in the RS, announced the investor of the project company “Eol Prvi” from Nevesinje.

Zlatko Mandžuka, director of the “Eol Prvi” said that they received an environmental permit from the Ministry of Physical Planning, Civil Engineering and Ecology of the RS, expressed hope that next week they will receive a construction permit from the municipality of Nevesinje, after which they would begin preparations for excavation.

Last year, the RS government a concession of 30 years to “Eol Prvi” for the construction of windfarms in the area of Trusina, with a total installation power of 51 megawatts of electricity. The investment is worth 150 million KM and involves the construction of 17 wind turbines with strength of 3 megawatts. The height of the wind turbines will be 84 meters.

Mandžuka stressed that they have the support of all republic and municipal authorities for the realization of the project, and he expressed hope that there will be compliance with the obligation from the concessional contract on the construction of a windfarm by October 2014.
