cazinThe beginning of works on the construction of the Emergency and Hemodialysis Center worth three million BAM was officially marked in Cazin. Construction of this center will ensure conditions for provision of new types of health services for the citizens in the Cazin Municipality and other municipalities at the territory of the Una-Sana Canton.

“Construction of the hemodialysis center will create conditions for provision of a wider range of health services to our patients, primarily in the domain of hemodialysis. The urgent center will operate after the model of large European cities, where teams of emergency help will be able to go to the field and provide emergency help in situ,” said the Director of the Health Center Cazin Muris Halkić.

The surface of the center is around 1.500 square meters. Ground floor will accommodate the Emergency Center while the Hemodialysis center will be on the first floor. The largest amount of funds for the construction of this center was provided by the Health Center Cazin, while the Government of the Una-Sana Canton allocated 500.000 BAM for this purpose.

Completion of works on the construction of this center is expected in four to six months.
