The Consulate of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Istanbul announced that for now it does not have information about the injured citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the attack in Istanbul.

“According to the information available to the GK BiH Istanbul, in the explosion that took place today, November 13, 2022, in Istiklal Street on Taksim Square, there are no citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina among the dead and injured,” the consulate stated.

Turkish Vice-President Fuat Oktay has said that six people were killed in the explosion in Istanbul – four of them at the scene – and 81 others were injured, with two in critical condition.

Oktay said the incident is considered a “terrorist act,” adding that female attacker detonated the bomb that caused the blast.
