The continuation of the inaugural session of the City Council on the election of a mayor of Sarajevo is scheduled for Wednesday 20 March, where a mayor and two of his deputies will be chosen.
The decision to resume the session was brought by the Collegium of the City Council, after which on Tuesday, 11 March a mayor was not chosen, even after the second round of voting.
Candidates for the mayor of Sarajevo were Jakob Finci form Naša Stranka, Igor Kamočaji from the Social Democratic Party and Stjepan Kljujić from the Social Democratic Union, but not one of them received the necessary majority support.
