Continued Growth of Arms and Ammunition Exports from BiH

The export of arms and ammunition from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) continues to grow this year as well.

In two months of this year, this export amounted to 51.1 million BAM, which is more than a quarter, or 27.6 percent more than in the same period last year, when the amount was 40 million BAM.

In February alone, exports were 34.3 million, which is 104.7 percent more than in January of this year.

In the whole of last year, the export of these products was 320 million BAM, and it is expected that this year it will be exceeded, considering the numerous new contracts signed by our companies, which are expected to be realized during 2024.

The growth of exports of the arms industry is also significant because it comes at a time when total exports from BiH are falling, mostly due to a dramatic drop in the value of exported electricity and some ores.
