The Commander of EUFOR Althea, Major General Maurizio Fronda, met with the Commander of the Operational Command of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Major General Mirzet Lubenović, together with his deputies, Brigadier General Martin Propadalo and Brigadier General Nebojša Bošnjak, for high-level discussions on operational coordination and continued military cooperation through joint training initiatives.
Ahead of the commencement of training next week towards Exercise Combined Response 2026, both parties stressed the importance of collective training between both EUFOR and AF BiH to seek to enhance interoperability, reaffirming joint readiness and ensuring full alignment within the framework of EUFOR’s executive mandate under the Dayton Peace Agreement.
The meeting underscored the strength and maturity of the professional relationship between EUFOR and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
