The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued international warrants for a total of eleven persons legally convicted of war crimes, as well as for another 52 against whom indictments have been brought/confirmed before Department I for war crimes.

At the same time, warrants were issued for 19 persons convicted before Department II for organized crime, economic crime and corruption, and for another 34 persons accused before that department.

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed this for FENA, in response to an inquiry regarding the phenomenon that convicts or those accused of serious crimes often avoid serving their sentences and, thanks to dual citizenship or other circumstances, continue to live in other countries.

In this regard, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina forwarded data on convicts who escaped justice, including those convicted and accused of war crimes, organized and economic crimes, and corruption.

According to these data, out of a total of eleven convicts for war crimes who are unavailable to BiH justice, i.e. the institutes for the execution of criminal sanctions, seven of them have been finally convicted of crimes against humanity. They are Momir Savić, Mirko Todorović, Mićo Jurišić, Boško Lukić, Miroslav Duka, Dragomir Kezunović and Dragan Marijanović.

At the same time, warrants were issued for Novak Đukić, Jozo Đojić and Ilija Jurić, who were convicted of war crimes against civilians, and for Sakib Mahmuljin, who was convicted of war crimes against the wounded and sick and war crimes against prisoners.

There are a total of 52 defendants for war crimes, of which nine were accused of genocide and they are Rajko Drakulić, Aleksa Golijanin, Radoslav Janković, Svetozar Kosorić, Tomislav Kovač, Nedeljko Milidragović, Milomir Savčić, Borislav Stojišić and Zoran Malinić.

26 persons have been accused of crimes against humanity for whom a warrant has also been issued. They are Zoran Adamović, Damir Antelj, Dušan Cimeša, who is also accused of war crimes against civilians, and Saša Dunović, Čedo Bogičević, Milisav Gavrić, Zdenko Grbavac, Milenko Karlica, Duško Kornjača, Milojko Kovačević, Vinko Lazić, Nedeljko Matić, Vinko Papak.

Vitomir Popić, Bogdan Stevanović, Novak Stjepanović, Zoran Stupar, Slađan Tasić, Mladen Vasiljević, Blagoje Vojvodić, Mirko Vrućinić, Miodrag Vujičić, Simo Stupar, Jovan Kušić, Branislav Vuković, and Goran Mojović are also in the same category of defendants for crimes against humanity.

Fifteen defendants, who are unavailable to the BiH judiciary and for whom an international warrant has been issued, are charged with war crimes against civilians: Ivan Ančić, Jurica Božić, Anto Golubović, Miroslav Hrstić, Milorad Kotur, Marijan Kozina, Dalibor Krstović, Miodrag Mitrašinović, Elvir Muminović, Miljenko Nogolica, Slađan Pajić, Vide Palamenta, Dušan Spasojević, Miloš Zekić, and Brane Petković.
