Today, at the plenary session, the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina rejected the appeal of the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, Milorad Dodik, for the assessment of the constitutionality of the Law on Amendments to the Law on the Flag of BiH.

The Constitutional Court determined that the Law on Amendments to the Law on the Flag of BiH, which was challenged by Dodik in his appeal, is in accordance with the Constitution of BiH.

In November 2019, Dodik filed an appeal with the Constitutional Court of BiH with a request to assess the constitutionality of the Law on Amendments to the Law on the Flag of BiH.

In his request, Dodik did not dispute the appearance and shape of the flag or any provision of the Flag Law, but disputed the procedures for passing amendments to the 2004 Law on the Flag, when they were adopted without confirmation from the BiH Presidency, Onasa reports.
