The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, Davor Božinović, announced assistance to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the demining process.

“Several months ago, a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Darijana Filipović, initiated discussions on how we can make the experience, knowledge and capacities that Croatia has acquired through its own demining process available to Bosnia and Herzegovina. We have made preparations, coordinated at the highest levels, and now, at a meeting with the Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dubravka Bošnjak, and Darijana Filipović, we have agreed on further steps and cooperation,” announced Božinović.

He reminded that in March of this year, Croatia successfully completed its own demining process.

“We know how important it is and we want to share that experience with Bosnia and Herzegovina through the transfer of knowledge, technical support and engagement of our experts. People’s safety knows no bounds, and projects like this show how the cooperation between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina brings concrete benefits to the people who live there,” said the Croatian minister.
