12784673_1119376461446642_1486412037_nAt yesterday’s hearing, the Court of BiH accepted the motion by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH for ordering custody for the former minister of security of BiH and the president of Alliance for Better Future (SBB) Fahrudin Radončić.

Motion for custody was filed by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH after the Criminal Council of the Court of BiH rejected the appeal and motion of the Prosecution to put Radončić back in detention due to violation of previously imposed restrictive measures.

Namely, not long after Radončić was released from detention, the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH announced an appeal because, according to them, Radončić violated the restrictive measures by giving statements to the media and leaving the place of house arrest.

The restrictive measures imposed to Radončić are prohibition of leaving the place of residence, prohibition of meeting witnesses that have been questioned, prohibition of giving statements to the media, as well as meeting and communicating with other persons accused in the case Bakir Dautbašić and others.

The Court of BiH could not confirm the duration of custody.

As a reminder, the deputy chief prosecutor and the head of Special department for organized crime, economic crime and corruption of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH Božo Mihajlović pressed charges against Fahrudin Radončić, Bakir Dautbašić, Bilsena Šahman and Zijad Hadžijahić. They are charged with criminal offenses conspiracy to commit criminal offenses, obstruction of justice and giving rewards or other forms of benefits for trade of influence.
