cvijanovic2Prime Minister of the RS, Zeljka Cvijanovic, stated that she does not foresee problems for BiH on its path towards the EU if everyone is acting responsibly and as defined in the coordination mechanism.

“There will be no problem if no one is trying to make improvisation or to avoid what was there agreed, that each level of government is absolutely recognized in accordance with its constitutional responsibilities, and that is the decision on the coordination that absolutely suits the needs of the RS and everyone else, but you never know when some normal question will become a great political issue,” said Cvijanovic.

She recalled that BiH has agreed coordination mechanism, which was adopted by all levels of government, and which will be on the National Assembly of the RS next week.

“We expect to be able to do work, the interaction between different levels of government to be much better than before and we will be able to move towards Europe. The first major task will be to answer the questionnaire, which will include the involvement of all levels of government and all the institutions,” said Cvijanovic.

She said that the RS is ready to do the job.

“In order to get the status of candidate we must resolve the issue Sejdic – Finci. The attitude of the RS will remain same,” said Cvijanovic.

She said that the way to Europe might be unblocked by the fact that some things are settled, but it remains a big dilemma what happens with Europe, which is not in the process of expansion, but the movement on these strategic path remains a goal for BiH.
