Damir Dzumhur won the first ATP Tournament in His Career

Damir Dzumhur celebrated in the finals of ATP 250 tournament that took place in St. Petersburg after he won against Fabio Fognini with 2: 1 in sets and thus he won the first ATP title in his career.

The beginning of the match was not promising for Dzumhur. Fognini made a break in the third gem and kept it until the end of the set that he won with 6: 3.

Damir came first to the break in the second set when he scored 3:2. However, Fognini immediately returned with a re-break for 3: 3.

Dzumhur came again to break in the ninth gem, which he confirmed for 6: 4 and took the match to the decisive third set.

Dzumhur made a break immediately in the first gem of the third set, and he quickly scored for 2: 0.

Damir made another break by the end of the set in the seventh gem for 5: 2, and then reached final score 3: 6, 6: 4, 6: 2.

Thus, the best BH tennis player won his first title in the second ATP finals in his career, while Fognini remained on five ATP titles from 15 finals.

Besides 250 points, Dzumhur also won 178,480 USD and he will occupy the 40th place at the latest ATP list.
