President of BH entity Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, reiterated that this entity is not opposed to the construction of the Peljesac Bridge.

During a meeting with the Ambassador of Croatia to BiH, Ivan Del Veki, Dodik stated that Croatia has the right to build its infrastructural facilities on its territory.

From the organization Otvoreno More (Open Sea) of BiH noted that Dodik, as the president of one of the two administrative entities in BiH, has no jurisdiction to neither approve nor block the construction of the Peljesac Bridge on behalf of BiH, but that is strictly under the jurisdiction of the Parliament of BiH.

Dodik, as they further noted, clearly stated that he would be ready to take the right on open sea from all citizens of BiH if he was in the position to decide on that matter.

During the voting on the Resolution on Peljesac Bridge in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of BiH, representatives of Dodik’s SNSD were opposed to such a resolution.
