Damir Imamović at the Gallery MAK lectured on the History of “Sevdah”

Damir-ImamovićAt the MAK Gallery in Sarajevo is organized the workshop, “SevdahLab: Sevdah – what is it?” led by B&H artist and performer of Sevdah songs, Damir Imamović.

Imamović lectured in English on history of Sevdah, so for foreigners to have opportunity to learn more about the basics of Sevdah and traditional B&H songs.

SevdahLab is a traveling laboratory of Sevdah. Damir Imamović through these workshops reveals to interested people his research on traditional B&H music, teaches the history of  Sevdah and esthetics.

Damir Imamović held SevdahLab in Zagreb, Belgrade, Amsterdam, Chicago, and is intended for all fans of Sevdah, but also for those who want to learn more about traditional B&H music.
