The Day of Civil Protection of FBiH marked with Formal Session and Presentation of Awards

marking ceremony civil protection In a full multimedia hall of the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo was celebrated the International Day of Civil Protection and the Day of Civil Protection of the FBiH. On this occasion was organized a ceremony in which the individuals and groups, legal entities, social and other organizations and associations received awards for achievements in the field of protection and rescue in 2016, which are awarded by the Federal Staff of Civil Protection. The audience was addressed by Commander of the Main Staff, Jelka Milicevic, and the Chief of Staff, Fahrudin Solak.

Commander Milicevic congratulated to all of those who are related to civil protection, and among other things, said: “Civil Protection services at the moment are much better prepared to meet all challenges than they were two FCUZ ago, during the great floods”.

Chief of Staff and Director of FCUZ, Fahrudin Solak, said that the FUCZ today is much more efficient and that teams are trained for specific responses to natural disasters thanks to their partners and the Government of FBiH.

The plaque of civil protection was given to: Fuad Babic (Sarajevo), Ramo Begovic (Jablanica), Idriz Brkovic (Sarajevo), Mario and Aberdani Gentilani (Switzerland), Fevzija Hajdaragic (Sarajevo), Stanko Sliskovic (Sarajevo), Mirsad Teskeredzic (Sarajevo) and municipalities Centar Sarajevo, Ilidza and Novi Grad Sarajevo, while the winners of Golden plaque of civil protection are: Nura Adilovic (Travnik), Muamer Brekalo (Mostar), Rifat Dzanan (Jajce), Mustafa Geca (Gorazde), Husein Hodzic (Konjic), Ljiljana Pavljasevic (Tuzla), Mirnesa Softic and Sulejman Vranac from Sarajevo.

Written commendations of the civil protection were given to following collectives and individuals: Senad Agic (Sarajevo), Nadira Asceric (Tuzla), Vahid Becirevic (Sarajevo), Hamid Begic (Sarajevo), Mira Boras (Ilidza), Diana Cacija (Livno), professional firefighters Capljina, Sead Fatusic (Tuzla), Ajdin Hadziabdic (Olovo), Admir Karajcic (Olovo), Mirza Muharemovic (Olovo), Adin Pasalic (Olovo), Ali Hrnjic (Tuzla), Fahrudin Kazazic (Sarajevo) Damir Mahmutovic (Sarajevo) Danis Memagic (Sarajevo), Ernis Zuko (Sarajevo), Meho Pirusic (Mostar), Department of protection and rescue from the rubble from the company “Klico trans gradnja “Ltd., Amir Sejdinovic (Lukavac), firefighters brigade “Tarcin,” firefighters brigade” Tomislavgrad ” and Lojzo Udovicic (Zepce).

Within this ceremony, in front of the main entrance to the building of the municipality Novi Grad Sarajevo, was held an exhibition of equipment which teams of the Federal Civil Protection use in actions of protection and rescue actions and demining operations.
