Brčko-panorama‘’Day of Open Door-Gathering of Citizens and Police of Brčko District’’, was traditionally marked yesterday in front of the police building. The highest officials and several hundred citizens of the Police of Brčko District displayed their successful work.

‘’Today we are traditionally marking this day, considering that on this day in 2000 a law was adopted on the police of Brčko District. This law during that time was a major challenge, as well as the institution that began to work in such a unique environment, and 13 years later it is successful, to have a stable situation and security in Brčko, with satisfactory indicators in all areas of work’’, said Goran Lujić, head of the Brčko police.

He added that crime in Brčko has been reduced by 50 percent.

The event was attended by Mayor Anto Domić, who promised that the police building would soon be completed.

A lot of promotional material was given out at this event, which facilitates communication between citizens in Brčko. This event was particularly interesting for the youth, who had the opportunity to get to know the police and their technical equipment.
