DCAF delegation visited BiH Ministry of Security

BiH Minister of Security Fahrudin Radončić met with the director of Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF) Anton Travner and his associates.

They talked about the program of border security which is being realized by DCAF, with the aim to support countries to establish reliable and efficient border safety system through the improvement of mechanism of regional cooperation.

They noted that BiH Ministry of Security and its independent units can expect further support from DCAF directed in the areas that are recognised as key conditions for the BiH accession to the EU.

During the meeting they talked about the 10th DCAF ministerial conference which is planned for the end of March in Sarajevo.

The aim is to continue and improve the cooperation of countries of SE Europe in their fight against all forms of cross border crime.
